"Pt. Nand Kishor Ji" was a Super Intellectual, renowed Educationist, great Academician, Pioneer Visionary, leading Ayurvedic practioner, Planner and a kind hearted Philanthropist- all in one. He was blessed with the strict discipline and minute expertise of Ayurveda from Guru Swami Lachi Ram Ji.

"Pt. Nand Kishor Ji" started his career as a Professor at Banaras Hindu University (B.H.U), under the then living legend & pioneer Educationist Dr. Madan Mohan Malviya (Founder & Chancellor B.H.U, Varanasi). After acquiring enough experience Raj Vaidya Nandkishor ji came back to his home Jaipur, to fulfill his father’s and Guru’s long cherished dream to start a World Class Education and Research Institution.

He was first appointed as Principal of Maharaja Sanskrit College, Jaipur.
Post Independence(1947), after long planning and  vision he started a separate College for Ayurvedic Studies, named as Government Ayurveda College, which later was named as National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur.

"Pt. Nand Kishor Ji" was unanimously appointed as the founder Director and Principal of this renowed Institution and held the chair till his death. During his tenure he revolutioned the then prevailing Ayurveda Education System Nation wide and is credited to successfully convert the old Gurukul system to the present Modern Ayurveda  Education System  in consultation and cooperation of other great Scholars of Ayurveda   like- Dr.Gana Nath Sen Saraswati, Vaidya  Yadav ji Trikram ji, P.S Warrier, Dr.Prannajivan Mehta, Prof.AnantaDuttatrey Kulkarni … to name a few.

He honored the chair of President of All India Ayurveda Congress  for two consecutive sessions. He also headed the three Prestigious Offices at the same time-

• Founder Principal- Govt. Ayurved College (Present National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur)

• The Director- Ayurved Dept- Govt. of Rajasthan.

• First President- Indian Medicinal Board.

He was awarded a Gold Medal and the title of “BHISHAK-RATNA” during the “25th Silver Jubliee Celebration of Encrownment of His Highness Maharaja Man Singh-II.

He was respectfully known as “Ayurveda Martand” (Sun of Ayurveda Fraternity).He successfully treated the Movers and Shakers of Rajasthan and  all over India. His famous clientele included the likes of Dr. Rajendra Prasad- First President of India, the  Royal Family of Jaipur State, Bikaner Maharaja His Highness Ganga Singh Ji, various kings, Business Tycoons of Rajasthan like-“Birla’s, Jaipuria’s ,Morarka’s,
